Hi all,
I would love to spend some time and study directing & cinematography, like 3 to 6 months. What should I consider?

I have a degree, but not related to film. I am shooting music videos for 4-5 years, but I realize what I do is so DIY, even though we're using our own REDs and renting pyrotechnics & huge cranes etc etc. I would love to have someone professional teach me. I want to direct music videos, advertising, shorts & feature films, and to learn to shoot as a DoP.

Thank You everyone

There are some great courses in Maine.

Am on a phone right now, but google will help you find details.

Also, remember that there's a real name policy on this board.

Ken: thanks a lot, its a verrrry useful list, but unfortunately its a bit too short term for me. Its perfect to fill the gaps, but not ideal for getting a film education =)

Martin, sorry, I have sent a message to Jason already.
