Just checking if there are any problems mounting the battery/raid cradle upside down? We use the Switronix dual battery mount, but since it, and the Red batteries are all V-mount, which are dovetailed, I figure it should be OK.
We're having to reconfigure our camera setup on one of our cameras, as one of our operators is developing repetitive strain injury (she's a slight thing). We're getting another follow focus too...

You will hit your sticks quite often?

It won't bother the hard drive. The setup you have though doesn't look very friendly to move. Maybe look into getting that cheese plate that looks like a skull (forgot the name) that can mount the drive on top of the camera and get a regular vplate w/o drive cradle. That would make it more compact.

Thanks boys for the thoughts. Fortunately the shots for this camera are pretty level so no big tilting, so sticks should be clear.
We're trying to keep maximum vision over the top of the camera, so trying to not mount anything on the top. Very new set up for us so it might not work! Trying it out for a 2 hour shoot tomorrow...

If you're inside and on sticks why not just hook the camera up to AC?

EDIT: UPDATE: Just shot for 2 hours without a problem, so far so good. Incidentally, it probably helps the tripod head a bit by lowering the centre of gravity.
