I’m prepping a small one day shoot of an artist’s 9-11 memorial installation and would love to hire a RED (and owner/operator/DIT) if any early res holders in the Los Angeles area have received their cameras by then.
We’ll be filming on an insert stage to create an informational video about the piece.
The installation is a handmade book 'sculpture' that expands (and collapses) into two six foot high twin towers. We would like to shoot the piece in various stages of construction (and deconstruction) against a white cyc or drop. We will also shoot some inserts that help explain how the piece fits together. Time permitting, we'd also like to shoot a quick interview with the artist.
I realize the cameras may not have shipped by then, so I will have a contingency in place, but as a RED reservation holder myself, I’d love to start working with the camera and meet some fellow REDheads.
Please let me know (via email or PM) if you will (hopefully) have a camera by then and are interested in hiring on for the project or have any questions.
