Richmond 48hr contest winner: Neighborhood Watch (LINK) (http://vimeo.com/6971968) won Richmond's 48 and got our team a place in the national level of the competition. We have to shoot another film in the 48 hours between evening December 4th and evening on the 6th. I'll be DP again, with R1 #2813 at my side, wondering if anybody out there wants to join the crew and bring a second RED.
If you have any interest, give me a call: 434-760-2202- and just to be absolutely clear: there is no budget, we're all working for free, and all our gear is used for free. I can promise that you won't be paid in bullshit. We're all clear, good folk and good 'ol movie making puts us in our best moods. The director won the national 48hr. two years ago and went to Cannes with it. The writers are the same guys who brought you the Geico Cavemen.
The project starts on Friday, December 4th in Richmond, VA. We may start shooting that night and we may continue shooting into Sunday, but likely we'll just have a real long day on Saturday the 5th. Obviously I have no idea yet as to what it will be about or entail- but you can be sure it won't leave much room for sleeping. The finished product is due completed sometime Sunday evening. Last summer we finished shooting and were packed up by 2AM Saturday night- but who knows this time...
You'll be fed good eats and plenty of gratitude I promise- come on and get some southern hospitality.
