Hello Red Team,

As we all know, you guys must be extremely busy, and I have been trying not
to bother you so much.
However, as the first batches are coming out so close, I just had to ask this question.
How long do I have until I have to make my purchase when you guys call me and
say my camera's ready? I remember some people asking this a long time ago, but
I don't believe there was an answer.

I just don't want to be in a hurry to get my bank account straightened up when
you guys call me and say I have to get it NOW. It will be very beneficial for me
if I get.. say, a month? Just some time period will be really great.

Thing is, it looks like it's time to get those accounts straightened...

But there have earlier been stated that we will get "some" time.

from what i recall - they will call you approx 30 days before shipping to arrange accessories and payment ... i think you then have maybe another 30 days to make payment ( so it could be total of 60 days once they call you ?? )

Just keep the cash in your wallet in case they call. Go get it now so you're ready.

;-P

I remember 30 days being what we were told.

My understanding is that before building a depositor's camera, they will require cash in hand. The thirty days is notice that your number is up and to ask how you want the camera fitted out. That is, with what accessories etc. You then submit payment and they build your camera as specified, and ship it out. Could be wrong, but this was my take on the procedure.

That makes sense to me. Especially if you are getting the RAW port which needs to be factory installed.

Well it is posted here that you can hold off on payment until features are all enabled. So that could maybe 3 months after your # is up. That should buy you some time.
