Had a bit of fun yesterday.
I was working with an archive drive that also happened to contain the first clips I ever shot with my Red One.
These are from September 08.
I started playing with them in RocketCine X and was astonished by how far we have come in the last 14 months.
Between the new color science, Red Rocket, and the experience I have built up, the difference between what I could originally pull out of these files and today is astounding!
It's an amazing thing when you can see something get better week after week, and there is no sign of slowing.
Epic is going to be CRAZY!
Red is allowing me to become the creative person I always wanted to be, and boy am I grateful! :sifone:

Awesome! Looking forward to the road ahead.
congrats on your first 14mos. It's like having a baby; age is tallied in months for RED now. Think about the time you'll be saying, 'I've been working 20yrs with RED'

I'm glad we are traveling the same road Jim.
It has been a hell of a journey so far and to think we are just getting started...

20 years of RED?
Its a bit early going to think like that, as pleasant as it may seem.
I prefer to think and plan on RED dying at some point, with this time we have to work with them and their gear being a sort of tech bubble.
I look forward to being proven wrong as I hopefully attend RED's 50th anniversary gala!

I look forward to sharing a drink with you at that 50th anniversary gala.
This progression is perpetual and our spirit undying. And just as I find so much enjoyment out of looking at my first RED images (like Jim), it will be even better to see the RED images created over the next 50 years.
See you there.

At the moment I'm only interested in this year, and this year I'm over the moon!

Thanks Jon and Sean. It's an amazing community to be a part of.
Here in Sydney all the Red guys stick together. We share gear, experience, time and friendship. It has really brought a lot of people together.
Much more than a camera!
