They make it sound like you can buy it but other than that, not bad!

Nice product placement......
They need to qualify what the $17,500 is for
or RED will get slammed by the couch directors
wanting what was in the photo for $17,500.....

I like how they write "and shoot 12-megapixel video at 60 frames per second or 720p video at 120 fps."

Nice!

I like this part:
"The camera that all the cool moviemaking kids are using is the Red One."
Wow now that makes it sound like a professional digital cinema camera.

"If your home movies are elaborate--like, Steven Spielberg elaborate--a regular camcorder just isn't going to cut it. The camera that all the cool moviemaking kids are using is the Red One."

ehehehehehe

Great! Now people are going to think people who own a RED are spoiled rich kids who blow money on stupid stuff like a diamond-encrusted computer mouse. Did I mention I don't like bling-bling?

Yeah I just love it when people writing for niche magazines comment or describe other areas. It's clear these journalists aren't qualified to write on such subjects nor do they know anything about them (at least in this case). Neat seeing it somewhere else but really poor information.

Yeah. They certainly don't know ME. MY home movies will be more like Soderbergh's.
