Yeah, it was big here a couple of days ago, but scientists are "99.99%" sure it was indeed a Russian rocket. If you do a search on youTube, there is even a guy who made a graphic explaining how these shapes could have been made by a missile.
Two days ago the story made it onto the frontpage of wired.com.
Here in Norway, of course, Obama's visit overshadowed the whole story.

There is no way that was a missile of any kind that did that in the sky. Did you watch the video or see the pictures? A missile would never spin in place to produce something like this and then have what looks like a black hole open up in the middle of it.

check out project blue beam... it may be the answer.. Def NOT a missle.
BUT also DEF not in deep space... we would have seen it from everywhere on earth in the northern hemisphere.. This has to have been semi localized..

WTF...?!??!?! haha
wild...
Andrew, I am 100% this thing could not be a missle, but how the heck do you know what a black hole looks like? Are you saying that would be ejected material coliding on the way into the black hole? Wouldn't that take a massive black hole, large enough to engulph many solar systems...? lol... I am not saying I know wtf this is, but that ain't no black hole... if you think it is please do explain!
WTF is that?!?!?! :eek6:
I want one! :D hehe...

I didn't mean to make it seem like I was saying it was a black hole. But it kind of looks like one...kind of. You could also say that it looks like a wormhole or something to that effect. I don't know what it is but I know what it is not. Its not a missile.

Well, since the Russian government copped to it of course I believe them  Only after they first denied it was them. Also if it was their missile what the hell are they doing firing an ICB missile over Norway. Some people might take that the wrong way. Yes I would like to see a Mythbusters on this event.

The more I watch it, the more I think it might be a missile having a very odd malfunction, almost like it's turning a very tight circle over and over in basically the same spot, and the spirals could simply be the exhaust radiating outward from that central point. Also, notice when the engine 'flames out' the center of the spiral goes dark, no more exhaust is created, but the spirals keep moving outward at the same speed as before causing that black hole effect.
Now as to why the trail leading up to the spiral is blue... your guess is as good as mine. Maybe lights from the other side of the hill? If that's the case, why isn't the spiral blue as well? Notice the trail leading to the spiral takes what appears to be a ballistic path, much as you would expect a ground launched missile to.
At least this is what I've talked myself into. If I were there that morning I'm pretty sure I would have wet myself and run the other direction.

As filmmakers, it's definitely MUCH more exciting to believe that this is something other than a Russian missile, it's what we want to believe. Occam's Razor dictates that it's a Russian Missile. That said, I do find it hard to believe its a missile...but none of us are rocket scientists and are unqualified to state as such. To me it looks way too symetrical and perfect, but again Ive never experimented with such things. To me there are 4 possibilities.
1. Exactly what the Russians said
2. Russians are slightly lying, they were testing some military shit and blamed it on a defect that didnt exactly happen
3. Aliens, Jesus, the Antichrist, Wormhole, Black Hole, Interplanetary shit
4. Clever marketing for a product, service or movie. I think it'd be possible to do something like that if you were trying to

That would need to be emitting huge amounts of light to shine like this or it should be in space to get direct sun.

The 1st time i saw the photo i though it was a cheap cgi image.
It really looks weird, and when it becomes really dark again it is almost scary.
Anyway i think it´s a missile. The trajectory is quite similar to when rockets go wrong:

The base smoke is already dissipated and the spiral is not near that perfect as the norway one.
And it's not bright either.
The norway spiral is just really really weird.
Not to mention the base blue spiral that seems connected to the main white spiral.
And the random emissions of black "smoke" that just pops in.
Makes no sense!

my mind that is...
but I have been on to many trips back and forth from San Fransisco or Las Vegas, and seen the remanents of a high altitude missile launch from one of the many military instalations around here.
When you get rocket trails that high, plus add the lensing effect you will get some pretty freaky stuff. The ice crystals in the contrails will bend the already setting/rising sun's (from the viewers perspective) light down back to earth.
And ya, it's all about the perspective when you view it. Sometimes the shape is perfect, other times a disorganized mess.
But it is fun to dream, but after experiencing a couple of these types of effects out here in LA, I knew right away what it was.

It isn't black smoke. It's lack-of-rocket-exhaust leaving the blackness of night where it previously reigned supreme.
If you look at the blue spiral you'll note that it gets broader and diffuser the further along it gets. That's a telltale sign of a high altitude rocket. Watch space launches. You'll note that as it gains altitude and the air thins the exhaust actually gets broader and broader as it nears space.
My prediction as to why it's so symmetrical is that it's either in space or at a very very high altitude which is how it forms such a nice spiral. There would be considerably more drag at low altitude causing the hot and visible rocket exhaust to not spread so widely. Since there is very little air and it's essentially in a vacuum it reduces the turbulence and chaos which low altitude missile failures are subject to.
Remember when they say "missile" they mean ICBM which is really a space craft. It looks like this particular missile made it to a very high altitude before failing.

I thought about it, it went so high that it began orbiting and with little effect from gravity it started behaving like that.
That would be the only way for it to behave in this manner.
And why the hell the first spiral is blue?

makes you wonder how the Norwegians feel...after all, if a Russian rocket came falling down in an unusual way over the US, you can bet people would get all freaked out thinking its the end of the world. even worse, if it were Iranian or North Vietnamese...

Ok, if it's a missile... Why the hell it reflects so much light?
Water vapor in the atmosphere.
Next question.
Andrew Walker
12-12-2009, 03:30 PM
Maybe it was swamp gas reflecting off a weather ballon...right. All I know is that if this was a missile malfunction and malfunctions like this had happened before then there would be some record of it. So where are the other missile tests that have this same thing happening? If indeed it is a malfunctioning missile that the Russians launched.
Matt, I think the question is why it this thing so bright in the sky. Of course this "missile" could have been very high in the atmosphere catching some of the suns rays. But its hard to say this was the case without knowing the location of the sun during the time this was happening. But also what about the trail or beam seeming to come from the ground up to the event. Why is that so bright all the way from the ground to the event. The sun light theory wouldn't work there.
All I know is that when people try and squash a story like this one as fast as they can you know something is up.

Well no clue about this vortex, but I do have a UFO story that very few people know about. Years ago while living in California, in an area just outside of Poway, there was an anti-ICBM installation that few people knew about. I was an overzealous High School student at the time, and had been removed from the area by guards when I stumbled upon this hidden place. So I knew where it was located. One night while laying in bed I saw something out the window that caught my attention. Oh this can't be a UFO I told myself, as I watched this light do things that it should not be able to do. Then I realized where the light was. It was hanging out over the location of this missile base.
I woke up my brother and sister and we sat there and watched this UFO until Miramar scrambled fighters. I'm guessing they were given permission to go supersonic to pursue the UFO, which they were not allowed to do over homes, can you say sonic boom...
The UFO instantly shot out of site! Well it wasn't 10 min later that a huge light appeared over the missile base then disappeared. What was it? Your guess is as good as mine, but whatever it was, it was truly captivating to watch.

ok.. so the spiral was created by norway.. from their EISCAT which is the same thing as our HAARP (in alaska)
basically bad shit!
most people dont know what these antenna arrays are, the public is told it is just a scientific experiment to study the earth magnetic field.. however why are these places located on military bases and closely guarded if they are private science experiments?
Heres what they do.. they heat up the ionosphere allowing weather modification...
they are basically weapons of mass destruction.. it has been said that the tsunami in indonesia and even katrina were brought on by our own use of haarp, was it meant to happen? or was it just an accident due to testing?
could have been either... but bottom line.. its bad shit.
all this 2012 shit could basically be faked via these units..
causing global panic and creating a one world religion after the one world government is in place... but i digress (if you wanna talk that.. PM me.. ill tell you all about it)
this particular test done by norway was called tequilla sunrise
TEQUILAsunrise (Transient Effects Quantification Under Ionospheric Low Angle sunrise). The idea is to look at the polar wintertime mesophere through the transient
caused by (scattered) sunrise around 8 UT. Interestingly, this happens to
be the maximum occurence time of the Polar Mesosphere Winter Echoes (PMWE)
why lie? its easier for governments to just say something braindead to the sheep of this world such as (its a rocket failur.. DURRRR) and we buy it..
if they told us what these machines could really do, then there would be many questions.. questions they dont want to answer
BOOM!

Enlighten me Nick...
Because nikola tesla invented this...
and hypothesized what it could do...
and regardless of what it COULD do, This is what it DID do.
According to the EISCAT website.. this spiral was part of project tequilla sunrise.
also, Its not a piece of fiction. You can EASILY modify weather by heating up the ionosphere. Get a small jar, fill it with moisture (clouds) and introduce and electrical current and see what happens.

if they told us what these machines could really do, then there would be many questions.. questions they dont want to answer
BOOM!

Zakaree, do you have a link to this. Sounds like the most believable explanation I've heard so far. Way better than the unbelievable malfunctioning missile story released to the press.

Just look up how much energy is actually expended by a hurricane, and ask your self where the energy being used to create these disasters is coming from. The largest nuclear weapons ever detonated didn't cause tsunamis even when detonated 1000' below the ocean. There is no way to get enough energy into the atmosphere to effect anything with an antenna array. Make a pretty light show? Yes. Create huge natural disasters? No.
The average hurricane releases the equivalent of 8000 megatons of energy, or about twice the electrical output of the world daily. Here's what 5mt looks like, and it took 1000's of people years to put this together.

Just saying, it's a good story, but we don't have the power capacity to influence massive energy systems like that.

Unless you have many countries with these arrays and you spray the atmosphere with particles to supercharge the ionosphere (Chemtrails)

ok.. so the spiral was created by norway.. from their EISCAT which is the same thing as our HAARP (in alaska)
basically bad shit!
Rubbish! Even if I usually like a good conspiracy. :cursing:
This rocket never entered Norwegian airspace. It was seen over a wide area because it was very high up over the White Sea coming in the direction towards the northern tip of Norway, but fell into the sea.
Is there anybody that think the Russians are that stupid that they risk sending a rocket that can reach northern Norway, Sweden or hitting the fishing fleet in the Arctic Ocean?
The reason this cause so much interest here (it's not even last weeks news in Norway) is because an experienced astro photographer managed to take a a long exposure of the rocket. That's why it looks like a spiral.
Watch all blurry videos and you will see it behaves just like a spinning fireworks rocket out of balance. Seen that many times with my own fired fireworks rockets.
The northern arctic part of Norway is not like the vast Alaska spaces without people, but populated everywhere with a lot of industry all the way to the Russian border.
It has been the District policy of the Norwegian government to subsides the northern regions since WWII to keep the area populated, among others to have eyes and ears of the population so nobody can utilise empty spaces without everybody knowing.
If anything happens up there, everybody knows!
Norway and Russia have a mutual agreement to warn each other of rocket launches. (both Norway and Sweden have civilian space rocket launches up north and don't want a Russian "misunderstanding" when launching rockets)
The Russians had notified on their military website, which Norwegian military monitor, of a time-window where they might launch a rocket.
This happens regularly, but it is not always they get their rockets off the ground. :smilielol5:
Now if this really had been an UFO, we would really had reason to cheer, but that is still some years off. :angelsad2:
Norwegians are much more worried about the Russians towing old warships along the coast on the way to India and losing them at the Norwegian coast, not to mention when the Russians are starting to drill for oil up there and sending oil-tankers along the coast, than Russian missile tests. Such testing have been done regularly for 50 years.

Read the links in this post particularly this one; http://depletedcranium.com/wowa-weird-light-over-norway/ ,it explains it all.
It was probably problem with last stage of Russian Bulava ballistic missile fired from Dmitry Donskoy nuke submarine, with higly unusual flight profile.

well it was seen right above the eiscat facility.. yet was NOT seen in sweden or finland, which would have seen a wayward out of control rocket sent from russia...
the blue beam that trails downward from the spiral are also a clear cut sign that it was in fact caused by eiscat. The blue beam is notorious to eiscat and haarp.. hence project BLUE BEAM.. research before buying into the "OFFICIAL" story.

by the way.. it wasnt just a long exposure photo.. there are VIDEOS of this thing...
and it is also in the spiral form. obviously the photo is more pronounced, but the videos will show the same thing.
