Hi

sorry if this is a silly question but i've just gotten a load of red rushes in & was wondering if there was a way to create an automated report for my client?

the sort of thing where i point it at the folder with all the r3d files & it would build a list of the files with things like duration, image dimensions & edge code.

this would be a huge help if anyone could point me in the right direction of an application

thanks

Al

load them all into red rushes. then do file-export CSV.

this will create a CSV file that has all metadata for each shot listed in a text document. it should open in excel or numbers or even text edit i think.

Also check out Clipfinder, it has reporting built into it where you can do the same thing as REDrushes or use one of it's pre built templates.

Under View -> Project Documentation.

You can customize your own reports by modifying the .xsl-files
