I've been watching Red's progress since it was first announced and I think it's great to see the camera is almost here. A big reason I went to NAB this year was to see Red and I was not disappointed. Incredible. I took my little Sony PD100 and shot some video in the RED booth to show my friends at home. It is quite crude (if you were in the booth you know it was elbow to elbow) and I was not going to post it but some friends said every little bit of video about the Red camera is worth looking at! Overall, I'm thinking this is the best motion picture camera ever made. I've been shooting a long time and, aside from the technical highlights, I think it is great to see an Amercian company leading the way now and putting this camera into more talented hands that aren't as restricted by price as has been in the past. I can't wait to see more footage shot by new Red owners. Congrats to the RED team!

What is most amazing about this is that it is two years old and the sentiment has not changed one bit.

Thanks Bob! This year was my first at NAB as well and it was for Red. Good video, brought back some fun memories.
