Yes, this week really is the week that signifies "Red Moon Rising!"

I sure hope the first RED cameras are pointed up tonight with that good ol' 300mm lens capturing all the action.

Time to really prove what a 1500iso camera can do! I expect footage tommorow!

I just went out and shot it... with a 300mm on a Canon 30D, I think they will need a longer lens.

I really need a longer lens too - I was shooting it with a 135mm...

Too bad the moon didn't have a grey ring around it. Then the man in it could be Graeme!

Why didn't NASA go to the moon during a lunar eclipse? To watch the sun be obscured by the earth.

Very cool, indeed. Did you take that photo, Zakaree?

I had my Nikon all set to go do a night timelapse with the whole eclipse thing. It was overcast and raining... Oh well. :(

I sort of took a photo of it. I was estimating exposure times and f-stop setting for a friend 200 miles away. I'll find out the result of our combined efforts and whose exposure guestimates turned out more correct later today. :)

Crystal clear down here in the 'Springs... still a quarter eclipse as I was doing my morning run in the wee hours... it was setting next to Pikes Peak, big red and awesome... ah....

It's happening again tonight in the Americas. Get your Reds out! And your DSLRs. I want to see some glorious shots tomorrow!

Hey... when did you guys become the 4K Ninjas? Did you change your name for copyright reasons, or just to avoid confusion with being associated with RED.?
