on my hvx for underwater i use this piece of kit:

I can not imagine it will be too long before 3rd party vendors pick up on these acc's that we need. I know it's much like the red drive---but it's might compact.

After all of the discussion about recording of HD I wonder if this would be a good option. It looks like you can just plug the HD-SDI output out of the camera right into this box and record to compact flash. It records to QuickTimeŽ or .m2t file formats. If a client needs HD just record to a CF card and hand off at the end of the shoot.
