Sound?

Hi Guys,

I will get my RED Rocket soon. Can we include the sound in Pro Rez conversions (or maybe even Avid files)? If so, what software is doing it, Rocketcine-X, REDcine-X or will it be REDline?

All of the above! With RocketCineX and I'll bet RedCine X you can even sync external audio with the same timecode.

But any audio the Red records will transcode in all Red software, always has.

since the last version of rocketcine-x you can switch off camera recorded sound on the exports. Just go into the audio menu......

But had no luck to sync WAV files with the picture.... when I check TC sync its ok.... sound and picture are TC locked via Ambient Clockit Box.... and also TC sync in Avid MC and FCP.
