Increasing fan noise throughout production.. Why?

Hi,

I was recently approached by one of our sound guys who complained that the RED One camera we use has become more noisy throughout production. ANy ideas how this could happen? Dust in the fan? If so, is that something we can easily service?

Dirty fan...get it cleaned up & you'll be fine.

Or if your fan is on 'Variable' mode the fan will increase it's RMP's as the temp within the camera rises. But if the setting is a constant and the noise is increasing then David is likely correct.
