I saw an interesting set of apple boxes being marketed on eBay a few years back. I believe it entailed a half, a quarter, an eighth, and a couple of pancakes, all of which fit inside a full that was open on one end. Does anyone have any experience with this particular set? Does anyone know where I might find them?

This appears to be it. I've never purchased this set, but I purchased two sets of regular apple families from this seller and they were very well made.

They're back! I did a search not long ago and nothing came up, not even in ended listings. I guess I should have tried one more time before starting this thread. Thanks, Shawn.

I love the concept, but I'm a little leery about the sturdiness of the open end of the full apple. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I love ease-of-transport/storage concept for location stuff. I'm a bit leary of the stability of the full, though. Do the others have interior support? I suppose it'd fine for 90% of what you'd need it for. Maybe if you had a set of those and another full you'd be set.
