I am looking for a company or graphic artist that can handle a branding package for me. I need a logo designed, creative brochure, and website built. We want a top shelf look. Anyone with recommendations for someone or a company who is very talented, consistent and reliable?

I'm a partner in a creative co-op and we have web, print, stills, motion, designers etc.... do national work. If you'd like to talk to my account guy, I'm sure he could get you going.

This is definitely one of those, "no problem that time and money can't fix!"
A couple of questions:
1) What specific industry are you in?
2) What region of the country?
3) Is there PR involved? Are you tying in a launch of some kind as part of your branding?
4) Media buys? Are you placing ads - print, online, TV, etc.?
There are lots of obvious choices. If you've got cash, you can pick up the phone and call Saatchi, Grey, Wieden, etc. They've all got local offices that can do incredible work without the A-brand prices.
You can also call any local TV or Radio station and ask to talk to the ad department and find out who does the buys. That will turn you onto the local and regional advertisers.
Best,
Lucas

Hi Dan:
I've been doing exactly this for myself and as a consultant for others for a long time. I charge $150 per hour and rarely take on new clients but would be glad to help you out if your budget will allow.
As you probably know, there is a LOT more to branding than logo design, printed materials and a website. Sometimes the most valuable branding advice early on is consultation on the name itself in terms of domain names, trademarks and other long-term intellectual property concerns. A novice would design a logo for a new company without questions, an expert might check domain registrations, ask questions about tone and mood and put in the time required to intelligently select possible font and color options with "meaning" and not just aesthetics in mind. A master would explore trademark registrations, question the name itself and brainstorm alternatives as well as consider other key components of a new branding effort before they'd even take on the client.
One of the most productive branding brainstorming exercises is to define your "brand" as a person and give it human characteristics and/or physical object characteristics. How would it look, how old would it be, how would it dress, where would it live, etc? How would it taste, smell, sound? Not only will the exercise benefit your chosen designer but will help you make up your mind about what you really want before you start spending money.
There are very, very few people in the world that can define a brand, design the logo and related materials and put together a great website in terms of User Interface, SEO and Conversion optimization. Either plan to work with separate individuals on each component or budget enough to hire someone that can do it all and do it well. Again, I'd be glad to assist. I honestly don't know anyone that could perform all of the services you will require or I would have recommended them instead. There are companies that have the various experts necessary to complete each component but they would end up costing you much, much more.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. We are forming a Film and video production company that will operate in West Africa so we are willing to work with good people anywhere. I am based in L.A. so a local company would make things easier but I will look into all the recommendations posted here.
