AfterEffects faster Windows7 or SnowLeopard

I was wondering if anyone has made some comparison if AfterEffects Cs4 is faster on windows7 or SnowLeopard.

I can't speak for windows 7 but xp64 is WAY faster !
a PC with half the processors, less RAM and no RAID was rendering in 2/3s the time of an extremely tricked up Mac Pro, rather depressing for those that love ProRes...

Hi Kim,

Our internal testing here at Adobe shows Windows is roughly about 20% faster than Mac across the board. This is due to the performance of the Intel Compiler as well as Windows OS. This is true for both CS4 and our testing of the upcoming CS5.

Hope this helps inform your hardware decisions.

They custom fit it in a rackmount and Im getting all extras I want (hotswapraids/CFcard Reader/etc.)
But now I know I will have to get the software for windows.
