Is anyone else upset at intel for holding usb 3.0 back till 2011? At 10x the speed of usb 2.0, it could have been a huge help transferring large video files. USB 3.0 is here now, we just need to put a little pressure on Intel, AMD, Apple, etc. to speed up support.

I think USB 3.0 is going to be the "laser disk" of connection technology. It's a great advancement but Intel is too busy developing Light Peak to even care about USB 3.0. By the time Light Peak is ready, USB will be obsolete. So why invest in a technology that your own company has already surpassed with something else?

I agree Light Peak is the future (and intel's reason for usb 3.0's delay), but that's still aways off. Products for USB 3.0 are here now! It would be nice to have usb 3.0 until light peak's ready.
