We were having this exact discussion at the pub the other day; all I can remember is that we'd picked Omar Epps of House as Green Lantern...

Oh yeah, and to keep the "current" castings where possible, so Brandon Routh for Superman and Christian Bale for Batman.

Christian Bale is very likely the best batman ever. Brandon Roth is a very good Christopher-Reeve-superman, but i think i'd really like to see an Alex Ross style superman in a film for a change.

Its a real 1950s/norman rockwell style superman that kind of aludes to how out-of-place superman is in contemporary society.

The word is Bale and Routh won't be used unfortunately, so I think we're back to the drawing board, only for the JLA movie though.

I dont know how much i like the idea of a JLA movie...I think while we have a good batman and a good superman that one should make an appearance in the other's film...not a huge character, just show up to talk sh*t to the other.

Word on the street is that Super Max, a supervillain prison movie, will feature Ollie Queen/Green Arrow and that Matt Damon is campaigning to play him.

Can you imagine a superhero cast of Bale, Routh, Damon etc? $$$ = $$$$
