3D files for RED?

I was wondering if there are any 3d files for the red cameras. - I was told that i would find files here (that i could use in Max) that would perfectly replicate in 3D what the red camera can do (which would be very useful to me).

Please let me know what 3d files there are out there that could show what the RED does in pre-visualisation in 3d, (preferably to be used in Max)

Uhm, there aren't files as such - there are settings that you would apply to your camera in the 3D program (to replicate lens settings, 'film back' etc.) that would equate to how you might set up your RED camera, but you would need to know your lenses etc.

Vidad, are you referring to RED's native Raw files R3D?

Or are you referring to actual 3D as in Avatar 3D?

I think that you are talking about RED's original R3D files, as there is no SW or Image Capture device out yet to capture directly in 3D, well actually they are, but are in total secrecy and under heavy NDA agreements and I doubt that any one of them will give you any of those files, then your alternative would be to get the separate files form an actual RED 3D shoot.
