Hi Guys,
I cannot see the footage in Redcine X for some unknown reason.
I can see the footage in Red Alert, if I click on the 'Default' button.
And I can only see the footage in FCP if during the Log and Transfer Function, I tell FCP Red Plug In to use "Daylight". If I do not do this, all of the footage is black! If I tell it "As Shot" its all black.
Redcine X can see the files, and all of the Metadata...it just wont show the Thumbnail, nor will it show the footage when dragged into the playback area. It's just a black image. (No...I didn't shoot with the Lens cap on)
I'm guessing this is all related somehow to why I cannot see the footage in Redcine X. There does not seem to be a function where you can tell it to choose the "Daylight" as it does in FCP..which is the only way I can get Red Footage into my Macs.
I can't work out how you would set the camera up, so FCP would see the images using the "As Shot" option, which is the default when Logging and Transferring.
I've tried this on 4 different Macs now, so I am guessing maybe it's a set-up option on the Red Camera??? But I can't seem to find how to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
