How many members are we, on Reduser?
We should all give $1 each to Haiti. A few thousands will at least help one family down there, or a kid, or a mother.
How can we set this up, if everyone agrees? Come on people!

Here's a good place to start... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34835478/ns/world_news-haiti_earthquake/
In the meantime, maybe go to http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=32432 and just make a new post with only your "real name". :001_tongue:

Reduser is something like 28,000 members...and even if only 10-15% are regular, active users, that's still a lot. And a few thousand can help a whole lot more than one family. Food, water and basic survival supplies really aren't that expensive.
Good link, Joseph.

I donated at a local grocery store to the Red Cross, it seems that most retail stores have set up connections with the Red Cross.

The best way to donate is to do so via a reputable (i.e. official) charity where you can a get a receipt for tax deduction. This allows you to give more since you'll be getting a tax break. It's better to give $20 and get a receipt than to drop 8 times $2 in various different collection boxes where do you don't get any receipt. Unless things have changed, credit card companies charge something like 3% in fees (this is invisible to the donor, but very visible to the charities) so it's best to give in cash or cheque to makes sure 100% of your donation makes it to the charity itself.
Just my 2 cents.
