Does the REDRocket accelorate transcodes performed by REDRushes or R3D Data Manager? Or does one have to use RocketCine-X?

I believe in the "free" dailies/rushes accelerated transcode world of RED ROCKET applications, it is ROCKET CINE-X, REDCINE-X, and Avid MetaFuze at this time.

What would be the difference / pros / cons to transcoding in RocketCine-X vs REDCine-X? Can you 'set-and-forget' a large batch (like REDRushes) and let it run overnight / in the background?

I believe over time, that the batch processing of dailies as found in ROCKETCINE-X will make its way to REDCINE-X - Being a Media Composer user, more of the MXF/AAF/DNxHD support is in ROCKETCINE-X and I find the process more streamlined - but it is designed for batch processing and set it and forget it - except that the ROCKET CARD eliminates the need for waiting overnight.. it is FAST! We have gotten faster than real time dailies encoding going with MetaFuze to Avid media. Anyone doing lots of dailies prep regardless of NLE should seriously look at a ROCKET card. Otherwise you need to compare the price of multiple processors and CPU's in a render farm scenario to get to as fast or faster than real time transcode.
