Anyone know of an iPhone app or equation that allows you to input a footcandle reading apply an asa and shutter angle to it and get a tstop?*

100 fc using 100 ASA film at 24 fps / 180 degree shutter = f/2.8.

From that, you can usually figure out other combinations.

"Calculator"

It's awesome and it comes free with the iPhone OS. Just be sure to turn the phone sideways so you can get the enhanced mode.

Sorry... Had to do it. I don't know of an app off the top of my head that that has footcandle conversions. If you're not scared of the math, the functions to calculate this can be found in the ASC handbook as well as on Wikipedia. :)

It will do that and a whole lot more. Definitely one of the most incredible, convenient, and well thought out tools I've ever come across. So worth your thirty bucks. Its like an ASC manual in your pocket.

That looks like an interesting app.
