If you've got a Rocket and REDCine-X latest beta, both work together with FLUT just fine.

On MacPro :
- If I stick to RedRocket + build 1720 all is well (it's been very stable).
- If I use RedCineX build 90, the GUI just seems to take for ever at random times.
- If I use RedCineX build 84 (working from memory ...) it's more usable, with far fewer GUI delays.
Having 'tasted' FLUT™™™™ + the new Lift:Gamma:Gain control and the way better colour quality (clean & balanced) I'm very keen to get going with it.
Interestingly, on a MacBookPro, RedCineX build90 is fine (just longer than I'm used to for render times ... once used to Rocket it's VERY hard to go back).
Is there an application log for RCX (somewhere) that I can get hold of and send to you folk to try and figure out what the delay could be due to ?
Cheers (& continued thanks for all the great work to date)

I'm seeing the same thing. It seems to be connected to changing parameters. I get the 'spinning beachball of death' and the GUI locks up, and all I can do is wait a couple of minutes for it to shake itself loose.
When it works it's fantastic though.

Agreed ... parm changing kicks off some background/parallel process that seems to hose the machine ... doing the same on a MBP (without a Rocket in place) does not seem to affect RCX the same way.

Coming very soon for a rocketcine with flut/redcolor.

Any tips for emulating the control of [Lift:Gamma:Gain] as found in REDCINE-X ? ... stll great to have REDcolor, REDgamma & FLUT™™.
So far, all rock solid and loving the refreshing output :hurray:

Thanks Red-Team!
Is the FLUT & Shadow control supposed to be working for pre-MX footage? Currently the sliders are having no affect.
Thanks.

Rocketcine won't be getting LGG and there really isn't a way to replicate it.

Yes, it'll work for pre-mx footage. Can you email me the log files (deanan at red)?

I'm finding that the FLUT and shadow controls work fine with HD-SDI output switched off, but have no effect on the HD-SDI output. Are others experiencing the same?

yeah, Deanan said it's a glitch on the monitor output. Hopefully they'll have a fix for it soon.
