Hello to all fellow REDheads,

I finally made the plunge into the world of RED; now a “true” RED holder order #3821xxxxx...

I'm REALLY looking forward to my RED ONE and the other fine accessories that go with it…my guess I’ll be getting it in May or June 08.

No, the recent pictures of the first RED ONEs didn’t sway me...even though they look amazing and Big Hooray to Jim and his fellow RED crew for making this a reality.

This was a long time waiting purchase and I'm very very happy to join the 4K Club.

Looking forward to share, help and nurture others REDheads...like others here that post, review, and give amazing advise to all. Just glad to be a part of.

Cheers...

Congrats.. ordered ours back in May. Wish we had ordered it sooner. Both of our HVX200's are going for sale around December.

Thanks Facemedia & Kevin C...I know I will.

I wanted to buy way back in NAB 06 but money was very tight even though it was only $1000 but I had so many darn bills and other stuff to pay for... before I could even think of a RED ONE.

Good things happen to those who wait and dream!!!

Hah! I know what you mean. Desire (for a Red at least) makes better money managers of us all! Should come in handy when shooting a low-no budget project.

Cheers, and welcome aboard. For those of us who order during or just after NAB (post reservation), does the Jan/Feb delivery still stand? I know this comes up all the time but I have been a bit out of loop recently.

Hey everyone,

I have not yet ordered the camera, though I intend to do so in the near future.

Since liquid cash is always king, I would prefer to place my order when there are enough units available for it to ship in a reasonable amount of time (reasonable of course, is a relative term). In other words, I would rather not place an order and wait six months for a unit to be available for shipping, but rather wire the money once a unit is available and can ship within a few weeks...

I will have cash in hand for a full production package in November (and am eagerly awaiting a package to spend it on!)

I appologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, I haven't had much time to scour through all of the posts... Any help, or nudge in the right direction would be appreciated!
