Any users in Nashville Tennessee who have taken delivery? We'd love to do some testing at a local post house....

Cool. Let's hope that since they are shipping that schedule will hold.

Are you going to rent yours, or just use it with yourself/company?

I'm in Knoxville, but currently will be getting mine in Jan/Feb.

I am planning to have a viewing/testing, once I get my camera, for anyone who is interested. I am still working out all the details but will post more when it gets closer to my pick-up date.

Hi Matthew,

I think I know you from MTSU. How are things going?

Hopefully we will paint Nashville Red soon.

I'm actually not from MTSU. I went to Bryan College down in Dayton, TN. Sorry!

Sorry I didn't see your name was Matthew (Rogers) also, I was thinking about Matthew Pessoni. It seems that name rings a bell and he is in Nashville..

My company just took delivery of #97, we're currently looking at the possibility of renting in the Nashville area shortly.

Edit: We've set up a rental agreement with DR&A here in town, you can contact them at www.griptruck.com for questions regarding renting schedules and pricing.

Guess I should have responded last september, but we've been REALLY BUSY!

We've got 2 now, Dorf's #097 and Pvwl's #636 and the other 2 bodies are coming the first week or so of march.

We're pretty happy (understatement of the decade) - it's been a really awesome experience having the first cameras in a market.

We've had a huge response, and have now used the cameras on 14 or so medium / high budget projects (50 - 100K) and the feedback has been all 10's!

It's also really given us a headstart on sorting out workflow issues, camera performance, back end to editorial, etc. It's definitely not a traditional workflow, and the statements made early about the curve being steep were not lies. I've got a lifetime of photographic experience, and it takes some real dedication with this camera to be able to milk out the beauty.

There have been 3-4 of us up late every night for the last few months, testing, learning, etc., but I'm really confident that we're cranking out the best images this camera is capable of creating, and our clients seem EXTREMELY impressed.

2 other DP's with very long credit lists have looked me in the eye and specifically said:

"I will never shoot 16mm or super 16 again, and the only reason I'll shoot 35 is because I love to sit in 35mm transfer room." - This is huge.

Give us a shout if you want to hook up... we pretty much leave a camera built in our studio 24x7-
