What is the sensor size of the 1.78 crop on a 4K 2:1?
Simple math tells you that if 4K 2:1 is 4096 x 2048 / 22.12mm x 11.06mm, and the height for a cropped area to 16x9 stays the same (2048 / 11.06mm), then the horizontal dimensions become 3640 / 19.66mm (multiply height by 1.777777...).
