Howdy,

Just started using redcine-x... Awesome!

My newbie question is about exporting quicktimes thru redcine-x (build101 on xp) in H264.

I've been doing this and the export doesn't seem to respect any color grading that has been done to the footage. It does when I export to dpxs but sadly nothing with h264... I feel like I am missing something obvious, but I've looked around on the forums an the user guide and I see nothing. Anybody else encounter this? Am I missing something?

thanks

I've been searching for the same information concerning how to get a grade to stick to a Quicktime when exported. I'm well aware of how Quicktime Gamma appears 'off' i.e. too bright with H.264.

The Grade works as expected when exporting a TIFF in tests.

I'm using Build 104 on a Mac Pro.

Do you have to do h264 for any reason?

I haven't had problems doing other Quicktime conversions, like Apple Pro Res 422HQ

When I get some time I'll try and pump out an H.264 and see if I get the same results.

Oops,

Just noticed you were in Windows, hence, no Pro Res...

Also, I don't have a PC so sadly I cannot help. Sorry, best of luck!
