Hi,

I'm going to IBC this year (as I did last year, to see RED) and I only will be going for one day. There are 3 things I would like to see at IBC, and they are, in order of importance:

1. RED (playing with camera's, seeing CTL on the big screen, seeing some members again - Hi Graeme, I'm Mathieu Ghekiere from Dvinfo, Hi Rob,...)

2. Seeing Final Cut Studio 2 in action and maybe some demo's at the apple booth. I know there will be workflow demonstrations at RED too, and I'm interested in those too, but also in the more general demonstration of Final Cut Studio 2.

3. I'm interested in seeing the new Sony EX XDCAM.

Depending on my needs (I have a free entrance only ticket btw), is there a difference between going on saturday or sunday? (in demonstrations, other reasons,...)
If so, which?

Thank you,

EDIT:Forget it, my eyes is the problem... (No difference that I know of)

Wonderful!

A message to all is that I'm often terrible with names, so make very sure you tell me who you are or I'll forget, and point your badge out the right way so I can read your name. That helps too. :-)

I met him last year at IBC at the RED stand, and he's a very nice guy.
He saw the name on my badge and recognized me from DVinfo, although I don't have that much posts or posted that much relevant information over there (more asking questions and answering other simple questions) and said he was glad to put a face to the name.
Thanks Graeme, it was nice to meet you in real life, and I'm sure it will be great to see you again, this year (with working camera's, hoeraaah!).
Thank to Rob also, for being very generous with my pretty limited knowledge about computer stuff, and giving me a VIP badge for the RED screening, although I didn't have a reservation or something, just a huge supporter of the whole RED project (but don't have the financial means to buy the camera... yet)

Although, but this is off topic, there is a postproduction Apple company here in Belgium that has 2 pretty early reservations with 300mm lenses, and if I'll have my screenplay ready, and have a producer backing me, I'll bring them a visit to rent, because I'm pretty confident about shooting my first feature with a RED camera.

It was nice to meet you too! Sorry about not having much time to hang out, it was crazy busy :)

No problem, Rob.
I think this year's IBC is going to be even MUCH busier!
