Hi all,

Life has started to settle down a bit so I might finally have the time to re-build and update iSee4k (if there is any interest, and people still use it).

The original has been downloaded close to 50,000 times since I launched it.
Thanks guys!

So here's your chance, let me know what is wrong with it.
What you would like to see in a new edition.
What is out of date. etc.

Constructive criticism is appreciated.

I still intend to offer the app as either free or $0.99

Any chance of doing an Android version?

I wish there was a search option for the RED Menu, ie. i could type in false color, and the app would tell me which camera menu to go through to get to that option. Maybe some approx render times using the red rocket card in a 8 core mac?

Perhaps adding a 2/3 sensor option to the RedEye and RedAngle sections. Love the app, would gladly pay .99cents for it.

I love this application. Use it all the time. Could you do a frame rate conversion for shooting high frame rates so I could calculate how much (in stops) more light I would need as opposed to whatever exposure I would be using in a normaly?

Second this. You could also do an ND calculator too that would tell you based off of what your current stop is and which ND filter you drop in = Final Tstop. Might be a nice addition.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Keep them coming.

I might build an android port if my wife gets an android phone, otherwise no way to test as I develop.

What about something like the iphone viewfinder app you can buy that uses the camera. That would be great in stead of the current Field of View page - just type in 2k,3k etc and the lenses and then point the iphone...

Glad to hear you are back on it - it's been invaluable to date.

Add my vote for a viewfinder app.

How about a false color cheatsheet?

PDF copies of the 3 most current build Red manuals.

Red menu navigation like those dinks that copied your app. :-)

Use iPhone GPS to determine user's location, if they are in Toronto make their iPhone dial my number!

+1 for:
- Updated resolutions, frame rates, etc.
- View Finder
- False Color
- Searchable Menu

Also, if there is a way you could make it go get me coffee, then I'd really be set. :)

Great work- keep it up. :)

Fantastic app, Ed! Do you know in terms of the storage calculator whether you'll be adding new options for M-X, 4.5K etc?

It would be great to find a way to account for the Variable nature of the Bit rate on the 4K store part of the app.

I post PDF files in my dropbox account and access them via the iPhone dropbox application and read them whenever I need them without the need to have them stored on the phone itself.

I love the app.

Besides I use a lot the pCAM and Artemis viewfinder for the iphone.

A menu help would be nice for all those AC's that don't use camera on a daily basis.

how bout a digital camera report sheet, that allows u to mail PDF's to the LAB after the job...

Love iSee4K- seems to me as a general iPhone to iPad note you could take aspects of the application that were divided into different windows in iPhone and bring them all together into a unified single display with the iPad's larger screen. Or have a single home page that the other modes simply pop into...

Having fields update in real-time, rather than having to hit a "Calculate DOF" button would be a nice bonus.

Red menus would be great

Also a camera log would be great. A way to log all the data ACs need to track and then be able to email a CSV (or better) of the data at the end of the day.
