Cool.
Why no Red Rushes support?
I know...you guys are pretty taxed...thanks for the reply.

REDcineX is the main development effort now. Working on REDrushes would take away development time on RCX and slow down getting it more robust and usable.

Ah,
I see. I think RR is the best renderer you have though. It seems like RC-X does not use all the cores to render, nor does it have the faster render options.

But we have been told a new REDline is coming. And REDrushes is just a GUI front end for REDline. IMHO Clipfinder is a better front end, so there is no need for a FLUT enabled REDrushes.

Nick,
This is great. I know RED is listening and busting ass to get REDCINE-X to be the only thing we would want to use. But Clipfinder is an excellent workflow option for many mac users who represent a wide range of camera owners.
The high end has to be first, (Scratch, baselight, Lustre etc) but Redrushes/Clipfinder/Color is a very fast and high quality approach for many customers.
I like that RED is focusing very hard on REDCINE-X but it think it will be very healthy to have secondary options to REDCINE-X and I know that means that people like Hans who writes Clipfinder needs to re-code based on the new SDK, but he has done all of this work on his own time asking only for donations via paypal.

It would be nice to take all the features of RR and build it into the "Export Tool" in REDCINE-X.
We will have the best of both worlds and a single tool that work.
Thanks

BWF Match is the sole reason I still use rocketcine for on-set dailies. Will this find it's way into RCX soon?

Automatch is in the next version. manual match will be a bit later.

Is this the plan Deanan?

Is this the plan Deanan?
Once we get to maturity with the underlying engines, we'll optimize the exports to use more multithreading.
Aside from that, RR doesn't have anything more than RCX except maybe outputting a CSV/Script and making QT wrappers. Both of which will be added pretty soon.

How come RR messes up the audio on renders with build 30 stuff?

The old REDline doesn't officially support Build30.
REDline underwent a complete rewrite for the next release to make it more compatible and future proof for b30, MX, rocket, etc.
