The first one is implementation of the new colour science (REDcolour, REDgamma) of course which i am sure will come with the next update (9.0d)
The second one which is even more important in my opinion is the option to do a full debayering even when the project's resolution settings are less than that of the footage's.
What do you think?

Miltos, how do I choose full debayering in Vegas 9? I have not found it yet.

Those two are really important feature. We should have an option to choose the debayering quality (similar to raylight?).
Also we need R3D Timecode support for exporting EDLs.
I emailed SOny but I got no answer.

from what i recall ( summer 09) ..
debayering to less then 4k :at that time the SDK had 2 methods and Sony uses the better quality method ..
i'm not at home to check the email from back then but i think it said something about the SDK didn't have have full debayering to 2k,1k,SD ...
i don't know if this changed with release of V9c ...
when i return home next week i'll ask them again and ask about TC from r3d

Nah, when exporting 1080p or 2K Vegas is only using half res. Which is not good, because 99% of the time you are not going to 4K.

You have to change your project settings to 4K and export accordingly. Not very hard disk space efficient...
