I've done it already- a conforming app for AVID/Redcine-X
Theory working!!
2 problems
the video output to mxf of anything other than full debayer seems to be broken.Full Debayer is OK.
the timecode START value in the MXF Always comes from the original R3D file and NOT the clip that you put in the Bin in redcine-x. thus it won't relink properly.
The viewer window in redcine-x reports the correct start frame timecode-it's THAT value i need to go into the MXF please...
if those 2 issues can be fixed it's ready to rock and this time i don't think i've got any issues with letting people have it...
