Everybody wants more footage. I want more footage, you want more footage. You guys want beach footage, city footage, lit footage, unlit footage, green screen footage, action footage, still footage, test footage, chart footage, raw footage, linear footage, contrasty footage, ugly footage, beautiful footage, macro footage, long-lens footage, handheld footage, dolly footage, crane footage, arial footage, skate footage, drag racing footage, plate footage, and everything else too.
I think everybody knows. I doubt anybody would read a thread on here and be surprised that people want footage.
I'm sure it's coming. Those that have cameras are quite busy right now... but footage will drop eventually. It's not like they're just letting their cameras sit around and collect dust while we collectively lose it.
And when they do post footage and it's one of the 30 things that were requested, don't get upset with the poster for posting the "wrong" footage. Just because it's not what you wanted doesn't mean it's not perfect for somebody else. Also keep in mind that the camera owners at this point are probably shooting for themselves... not for the forums. They'll probably shoot what they want to shoot and post it here when they have time.
Please stop with the armchair quarterbacking. If somebody posts an image isn't perfect or lacks something that you wanted or needed or totally could've done better... relax. Maybe they weren't trying to do exactly what you had in mind. Negative "I could've done better" reactions will probably scare people away from posting footage.
So let's all just be a little patient. :)
