View Full Version : Redcine and Redcine-X show different image color?

Hi. Can anyone explain me why they give me ifferent image colors at same settings.Just import to Redcine R3D footage and the same to Redcone-X and get different colors:

Was the footage shot on a camera with build 20 or later?
Redcine has been discontinued, and is not up to date with the latest color science that is being used on the most recent builds of the camera.

Even with older builds, REDcineX will be using the latest color science which the older REDcineX doesn't support.

There's alot of more power in RCX to get the look you want. RCX has a more neutral and accurate color which gives you a better starting point to build a grade from, especially for skin tones.
Post a screen shot of the settings you're using in both apps and we can take a look.
A sample R3D would help also.

Ok .i gotit now,Thank you!
But its seems like redcine-x has a saving problem.
It save some time but some time no!
Hope it will be solved in next release.
