Sorry, for this, but i don't know how to help myself.

I ordered back in 4/07 a Camera Package.
Never got any OrderID.

Since then i sent several emails, to order department, reporting i need any- Order ID- to send my deposit.

This week i sent 3 Faxes to Brad, Kelly... but never got an answer.

I called up at RED, talked to Kevin, left messages for BRED
..never got an answer.

So does this mean RED stopped selling cameras?
Anyone knows anything about it.

The good news ..i ordered lenses this week, and got an order ID within the system.

Having loads of work cant be an excuse...a costumer likes to deposit his cash ---but Red has no time?

Well this is an attempt to wake up -the order/sales department--i hope someone from RED reads this here...and contacts me, to help me on this!

canīt imaging they stopped selling...

ordered in 07/07 and a few minutes later i got an email with my ordernumber. desposit is booked already from my CC. so something wrent wrong by your order process for sure.

They are adding staff -

The demand for this camera is massive, and now that is is actually shipping ... as-in "NOT" vaporware - orders are FLYING in -

I am sure that Kelly (or another member of the RED team) will take care of you - but you should stay on top of them as I know they are ramping up staff and infrastructure -

You are going to LOVE your camera!!!!!

Hmm, looks like Red has a specific problem with you, the-red-fan. That time in the street, when you bumped into that person with the cool sunglasses, but didn't say excuse me... that was Jim Jannard, and he never forgets!

No i dont think so, its a personal problem.
I again,will call them up today...doing it since a week, but never mind. We see..i hope someone reads this here from RED-ORDER department.

yes..i found out too..they adding stuff, and i could order my lenses too, but cant figure out why they don't give me the Order ID for my beloved RED!

You want an order ID to send in your deposit?

I think you got it backwards. I sent in my deposit via CC and got an email confirmation with an order number and the MYSTERIUM TIME STAMP.

Either that, or I am not understanding you...

No, they sent me a Red number but it was in the high two thousands and then I found out that it did not correlate with a Red camera like the first 1500. A month before I ordered, Red Team posted here they had around 2000 orders for the Red so I am hoping I am in the 2000-2500 range.

I just ordered another camera with a partner two days ago before the expected IBC rush this coming week. Like many people who ordered after the 1500 I am curious as to when to expect my cameras, but I understand they are tentative to give out firm schedules since new customers might not be as forgiving to d**ays as the first 1500 res holders who seemed to have formed a strong and loyal following. Also, this is a small company (21 ppl?) I am sure getting swamped right now. I can't even imagine the logisitics between production, research, development, marketing and this weird ability to post on this board 24/7 while juggling all those things.

I trust that when they feel confident with updated information between Time Stamps, expected waits and delivery schedule, they will be forthcoming...

dont worry, no line bumping.. if you have to re-order today you get today's time stamp.

Are you John 4321, the one who was trying to buy a reservation some time ago? Similar grammar and similar recent post about red stopping sales.

LOL! I actually bumped into him and said sorry and I got my RED number bumped up the order.

I should order my #2 RED before IBC, too. I'll do that this weekend.
