Hi guys, specialists, everyone.
Now I´m totally confused about everything... I like to buy a RED One but I didn´t found any informations about the mysterium x availability.
Should I wait to buy?
When will the Red one be delivered with the new chip?
Is there an exact date?
Could anybody help me? Thank a lot to everyone in advance...
Sorry, for asking "newbie" questions, but there are so many different stories around...

MX chips are currently only being offered to current Red One customers. They are going in order of original delivery date, dating back to August 2007 when the first cameras were shipped. They are now up to early February 2008 cameras. After they fulfill all Red one customers, then they'll move onto selling R1+MX out the gate. But by that time, I imagine Scarlet and Epic to be out

once they are through the list of owners you will be able to order a RED1 with MX, but the MX R1 costs 6000 more then the M R1.

Dont know, depends on too much factors to clearly say with MX Upgrade.
-people have to send it in
- wire the money
-components
Can be between 4 months and 12 months when everything goes wrong which i dont hope :)
you can always get a R1 now and trade it in for an epic brain with a 17500 USD discount...but you will not get the special EPIC X deal, (hence you will need some additional modules)
Wait for a more flexible model.
Although I would not put Scarlet and Epic on the same plate.. there you have to find the right tool for your needs.
