Who are the main rental houses in NYC that rent high end lenses/cameras.
Also, who are the main rental houses that would rent cameras/accessories for the Canon 5D/7D (smaller houses).

I worked on RED shoots that rented their cameras from Hand held films, Du All Camera, and Abel Cine. Personally for RED cameras Abel Cine had the nicest package for the price. For 5D/7D packages Du all usually has that covered, I also have a complete 7D package available for rent in the NYC area.

Thanks David, we try our best to provide high-end service.
We've also gotten into the 7D/ 5D seriously of late. We have 7D PL mounted cameras - FGV Schmidle conversion - and are really happy with it (unless Im looking at the bill). Also a full line of 7D/5D accessories, CF cards, etc.
We're anticipating the arrival of the Zeiss CP.2 primes as an ideal pairing with the 5D Mk2.

CinePhotoTech in NYC has a full line of digiital cinema cameras including the RED MX, RED 1 Mysterium, Sony F35, Panasonic 3700 and soon upon release the Arri Alexa. We offer Cooke S4s, Zeiss MPs, UPs, Speeds, and Standards, and the TRex lens system, along with a full compliment and accessories.
