I had the honor and priviledge of attending a 2k screening of Red MX footage against f35 in sLOG and 5d yesterday at Alternative rentals, and let me say, the MX looks absolutely spectacular. Incredibly clean, noiseless 800 ASA, right out of a full debayer. No crushing of blacks of coloring whatsoever. Even ASA 1280 looked flawless! Things are getting really exciting these days. Our tools as cinematographers are consistently evolving and progressing at a faster rate than ever before.
