which is the best solution for a support-grip of the quite heavy 300mm lense on red, to avoid damage at the mount because of the weight-
any ideas and links or pictures?

That red ring around the front mounts onto a support you can get to match your rod preference. Not sure if Red will sell that support or not.

The red universal mount looks like it should work.

would be great when red will offer a kit for the 300mm lense support or tell us a solution kit what accessoires may be the right one to make sure of best support to avoid damage on the mount.
i had some rental cameras suffered under missing support of heavy lenses of ignorant users.

If you have the 15mm rod adaptor, the RedrockMicro lens support works well at a reasonable price.

That would definitely make sense if that were the correct height. Would be nice to have a thumb screw below it, but you can also look for some other standard bridge supports out there.

I would be shocked if the red 300 would not come with a bridge place rod support.
