Hi,

I'm interested in Buying RED Camera, but because i'm living in Poland i have a couple of questions about taxes and other problems that can occur.

1. Firstly, is it possible to buy a RED in Europe?
2. If I buy it in the USA do I have to pay import charges and if so how does it work? How much is it?
3. If anyone on the forum has experience of the situation in Poland - what kind of charges will I have to pay upon importation of the camera into Poland?
4. I am also considering to buy a used RED. Does anyone have some tips or information here - particularly in relation to taxes etc. and changing to the MX sensor.

Thanks for any information!

Best wishes

Gosia

Hi Gosia,

first there is one owner in Germany selling one. Maybe still available.

I donīt know about taxes in Poland, but you can search in the internet for so called "taric codes for EU". Ask Red how they declare the R1 body now.
As far I know you can buy everything from Red directly from England (which is within EU) , except the body.
Hope this helps a bit.

Cheers,

Marc
