Abel Cine have announced a B4 to PL optical adaptor that "spreads" 11mm diameter CoC to 22mm.
Designed for the new Phantom high speed camera.

Yes Mike, the HDx2 B4/PL Optical Adapter also fits on the RED One. It covers all 3K formats but I was happy to discover that (at least with the lenses I tested) it also covered many 4K formats, such as 4KHD. Only two stops of light loss as opposed to 3.5 stops on the Abekus 260 and it is really clean and sharp. I was genuinely surprised at how nice an image I saw.

How crazy would it be to make an adapter that makes the Red Mini Primes cover the Red M-X sensor?

@ Nils -Buy the Nikon or Canon adaptor instead for the budget conscious.
Or just rent proper glass.
The light loss, image degradation would not be worth it IMHO.
However, if a motor fuji/canon/angi lens is needed, it'd be an option.

That's a cool idea.
I think just a plain mount that would allow the EPIC to accept the mini primes would be great. I wonder how much resolution you could get from this combination.

Could be handy of those jobs where long zoom TV lenses are needed but a red look or post flow are required
Would be interesting to compare optical quality with same lens on a 3 chip HD camera.

Mitch,
Will you have one of these gadgets at NAB?
Thanks

Does this mean that both of my $20K Fujinon zooms (that have CA problems) will cover the whole 4K sensor rather than just 2K? Will it make the CA problems go away? (please...)

They will cover 3K for sure. They might cover some 4K formats but I can't promise. They likely will if you zoom in a little. Don't know the origins of your chromatic abberations so I can't say for sure, but they will look the best they could possibly be with this adapter.
