With Build 30 a lot of things have changed, what do you think about iso rating?
With a R1 with M sensor do you think is better to change iso depending the situation/scene or is better to adopt the"old school" philosophy and leave everything at 320 and adjust it in post? Thanks.

I'm still running testing to figure that out so i do not have a clear / solid answer to that yet. But my initial feeling is that it is ok to adjust the ISO depending on the situation. The noise floor is so low, that moving the ISO around does not seem to have the same penalty as before with the M chip.

Oh, oops, my mistake- you are asking about the M sensor, NOT the MX.

With the M sensor, the same methodology still applies. It does perform better on build 30, but it is still best to shoot and expose for ISO 320.

Thanks a lot Ryan. With the build 30 does the lightmeter match the 320 iso of the camera? I'm still talking about the M sensor.
