Hi Jim,
Is there any info you can share regarding the RED-DRIVE shipping date? Any estimates? Just wondering how far off those are.
Thanks,

What's the status on the RED motors? When will they be available?
I have a feeling the Red cameras will be sent little by little and it will take some time till users will have a full featured workable product.
I personally would prefer that it will take more time to develop the camera but once it's out than this is it, YOU HAVE IT.
Questions about the Red Drive, the Red motors, for me these are not good signs, but I am a hopeless pessimistic, but look around you, on the global warming and you undrstand where I am coming from.

Jim has stated publicly, time and time again, that if you wish to wait for a fully enabled camera with all the accessories you want, then you may opt to do so. No one yet has, but it's been their decision, each and every one of them.
It's worth noting that people with reservations (and particularly those with low reservation numbers) are, by definition, people who like to be at the bleeding edge of technology, and therefore understand the compromises and risks that go with that - people who are pessimistic or who simply want to have a proven solution before they jump can and will wait until that is the case - no problem.
