So I've just been having a really hard time rendering out of RedCine X with my red rocket cards. I have the cards installed on 5 different macpro's. All are the latest 2x 2.93 GH Intel Xeon Nahalem 8gb Ram. All getting the same results. (poor)
Here is the latest,
I have one file that was being particularly troublesome to render. It had failed nearly 10 times, all at the same % of completion, on all 3 of my systems.
So I thought i'd try an experiment,
Q: how does this file render when I disable Rocket?
A: Perfectly!
So I have saved the logs of the two consecutive RedCineX sessions, the first is with rocket disabled, and the successful render, the 2nd is with Rocket enabled and the failure.
the error that I'm seeing in the log is this
RR Callback - Decode Failed - Frame: 663 Item: 0x0523FEA4 Mode: 'DRCR' CustomSize: 1280x720 PixelType: 0x52423649 ImageBuffer:0x153C4E00 bufferSize: 0x00546000 RowBytes: 7680 RocketStatus: 4 DecodeError: 786467
Attached are the complete logs from the successful render with no rocket card and the logs from the failed render using rocket.
If anybody can help me out there I'd really appreciate it.
