I know it's not available, but is it possible?
Why?
Working on a show where we shoot 3+ hours a day which is to be transcoded for daylies (640x360 h.264) and offline (1080 prores HQ)
I know it's been asked for before, but in this situation a 1/2 & 1/4 debayer option from rocket would have been fantastic.
Is it at all possible?
AND will it become an option?
Just now, tome - rocket is rushes on steroids, except I could make rushes work as fast for dailies...

One Rocket can easily keep up with what you've described. Simply do the ProRes 1080P files from RedcineX and then make the h.264 from those, using the newest Clipfinder you can use the monitoring folder option to monitor your exports from RCX and another document from clipfinder to monitor your h.264 exports. The biggest key to the process is increasing the number of downloads you do, don't let an hour of footage build up before you start the process.
Frequent downloads will make everything better, from R3D Data Manager through your h.264 dailies.

Sorta but not really...
I need TC and audio in the h.264's but no TC and no audio in the prores files. The "no audio in prores" is not critical, though... -:)
As to frequent downlioads, I agree! -:)
Thus I have now installed a 2nd comp in the car...
3 cams can be a mother of all data.

I wonder about that too. It seems it can it play back in RedCine-X in half or quarter res in the player (not the external display), or is that just display and does it still render in full in the background?

you should render prores with audio and no tc burn in with the rocket
Then batch convert in compressor with an added burn in TC to h264
An applescript can then delete all audio tracks on the prores files...
