Any issues with shooting, or workflow, with using Build 30 on the old (non-MX) REDs that anyone is aware of??

Shooting Tv series build 30, and soon wrapping a feature build 30 and so far I would say its the most stable my non mx RED has ever been. Workflow wise I dont think 4.5k quicktime playback of proxies is supported yet but other then that I have not had too many issues.

If you are using the Birger, there are issues, but it appears that there is a work-around. Otherwise, I really like it!

Hey Chris, I personally used the B30.5 on couple projects, camera worked like a charm, post is fine (redrocket), but watch for the camera temperature it does get hotter than usual,

does build 30 work with Red Rushes? whenever I have a RedCine issue and need to get footage outputted, I've always turned to Red Rushes (but heard that Build 30 wasn't working with it).

When I hit the zoom in function the camera freezes on it some times like 1 out of 100 times.

Stephen, what issues are there with the Birger mount? I haven't seen anything untoward on ours...

My Birger works fine with Build 30.5 but I would like to know what issues others are having.

Have shot two shoots with long takes (>1hr) using Build 30 on two cameras and had no problems.
Also use Rocket Cine-X1740 for post without problems.
