Today Mike Curtis left the building. Off to JFK to fly back home to Texas.

We kidnapped Mike at RED DAY and dragged him back to NYC with us (he didn't actually put up much of a fight) -

For the last 10 days straight - Mike has worked, every day with us at Offhollywood. We miss him aleady. What a blast! MAD crazy NON STOP Red tests.

There is NO WAY we could have covered all the ground we did so fast without his help.

A massive thanks from Aldey, Pliny and myself. We'll see you soon as you will be our first choice RED DIT when we are too swamped to handle the jobs ourselves ...

If any of you want to hire someone to get you up to speed quickly on your RED - Mike's your guy. 100%.

Cheers Mike - see you soon and thanks a million!!!!

Thanks guys!

I had a total blast up there, and really appreciate being invited up to come play. We all learned a lot, shared a lot, it was great collaboration with everyone contributing from all angles. Besides being the only camera up on the East Coast, these boys are up on their game when it comes to Red. They've got 2 cameras, multiple nice FCP suites, and the coupe de grace - SCRATCH!

Native Redcode grading, with access to the RAW. Even BETTER than saving out as 16 bit TIFFs or log DPX.

As for NYC - hey, if they can keep me busy, I'm happy to fly out there whenever. That's where the top end work is on that coast. But I'll fly anywhere...
