Once I've put my 10% down on the camera where do I find the number of where I stand in line? And has there been any official estimate of the intended rate of production?

Put your refundable deposit in and you will receive an e-mail with an Order number. It is not a number to know your place in line. You will have to guess how many orders are in before you. My guess is you would receive your camera in March '08. That's good, considering people have already waited longer than 6 months. We waited 16+ months (or 501 days to be exact (if one were to count, of course)....but it was well worth it.

My guess is that they've stopped using sequential reservationnumbers because they don't want competitors to know how many RED cameras have been sold. I don't blame them. Does this mean cameras won't be numbered, Jim?
